About the bar
The calmest room in the loudest season.
What this is
The Breakup Bar is a place to sit down when your life got loud. Breakups, divorce, co-parenting, rebuilding. We take the emotional side and the practical side seriously, and we keep both in plain language.
Advice you can sip, not slam. No panic, no bitterness, no lectures, just small pours of perspective you can actually use this week.
Who it's for
People who are leaving. People who are staying. People who genuinely don't know yet. People healing, and people rebuilding something new on the other side.
Men are explicitly welcome here. This is not a room where anyone gets dragged. It's a room where people get steady.
Who's tending bar
The bar is tended by a guide who's lived it, with a family-law attorney pulling up a stool for the legal reality checks. Two perspectives, one conversation, so the feelings and the logistics stop pulling against each other.
Everything here is general education. It isn't legal advice, therapy, or crisis support, and it doesn't replace your own professionals.
The promise
We'll slow things down before we speed them up. We won't rush you toward a decision that echoes. And we'll keep saying the thing worth repeating: don't make permanent decisions in temporary panic.
Pull up a stool.
One useful pour in your inbox each week.
